Dr. David Kiarie Mburu (PhD)

Dr. David Kiarie Mburu is a holder of PhD in Supply Chain Management (JKUAT), Msc in Logistics (JKUAT) and Procurement, Bachelor of Arts Economics Major and Sociology (UoN) among other professional qualifications and Diplomas. He is also a registered professional Member in different local and International certified professional bodies; they includes, Kenya Institute of Purchasing and Supply (KISM), Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), Project Management Professional, Certified Fraud Examiners, Operations Management, Logistics and Transport Management and Supply Chain Management.

Dr. D. K. Mburu is an expert in Supply Chain management and Operations Management. He has a wide experience in sustainable Management across different areas that relates to Operations and Supply Chain management such as Risk Management, Fraud Management, Logistics Management, Public Procurement and Project Management.

Dr. D. K. Mburu is also a renowned global trainer in areas of operation Management and Sustainable Supply Chain Management with more than fifteen years of teaching in different universities, with wide industry experience. Among the institutions he has worked with includes Safaricom Limited, Mt. Kenya University, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology and Dedan Kimathi University of Technology.

He is also a Senior lecturer in areas of Supply Chain Management and Operations Management at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology. He is also the Chairman department of Operations and Supply Chain Management and the thematic leader in areas of Supply Chain Management in the University.
